On Tuesday, November 20, 2012, the 2013 International mutual recognition of credit course seminar was held in Beijing Yulong International Hotel, which was hosted by Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) . This conference invited more than 40 leaders of nursing colleges , including: Anhui Medical University, Nursing college of Dalian University, Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine an so on. Also, the Secretary of Peking University Nursing College, Shang Shaomei and the Director of the Canadian Niagara College Asia-Pacific institute, Tang Minhua, analyzed the international curriculum selection criteria and spoke about Canadian Niagara College’s nursing graduate certificate programs in detail for the participants.

This conference was the educational achievement exhibition of Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA). In recent years, GIEA has collaborated with many domestic and foreign professional organizations to promote education through research of the Twelfth Five-year Plan’s - “the theory and practice study of socio-economic development service and the construction of a modern vocational education system”.

At the beginning of the meeting, the president of Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) Miss Lin Ying analyzed in depth the background and significance of the international credits curriculum system, and promoted a series of work plans of the Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) in 2013, including the foundation of college accreditation, the overseas visits to colleges, Canada Graduate certificate programs, the training of nursing students and teachers at home and abroad, exchange students and so on. Subsequently, the secretary of Peking University Nursing College Shang Shaomei interpreted the standard for international credit courses to help the institutions to clarify their reporting ideas, to provide a thorough understanding of the importance of recognition of credit implementation, and to be clear about the next work task of the base review.

The Canada Niagara nursing graduate certificate program is one of the important projects of Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) in 2013. Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) invited the director, Shang Minhua to introduce the Canadian Government’s "SPP Students Cooperation Plan" certificate course and basic aspects of Niagara College's teachers and nursing practice rooms. She hoped that Chinese nursing students could pass the test of the certificate course, and become international professional nurses.

The meeting consisted of a warm atmosphere, where the leaders solved a number of problems, such as the launch of the international credit courses, foreign training objectives, training models, direction of foreign class, etc, and they also answered the specific institution problems one by one.

Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) will continue to develop and research the education project, and play an important role in the international communication nursing platform.
