Eighth Stop: Zibo Vocational College

The eighth stop was Zibo Vocational College, which was the second university in the Shandong province in this exhibition tour.

During the ceremony in the morning, the president of Zibo Vocational College, Mr. Geng gave a brief introduction of Zibo Vocational College’s history, school philosophies, activities and honors. Furthermore, on behalf of the college, he gave sincere thanks towards the British representatives.
In the teaching lecture, the professor of Edinburgh Napier University, Dr. Roseanne Cetnarskyj delivered a speech on the topic-- Teaching Method. This lecture was very interesting and profound, and the topic of the nursing teaching method was actually what the teachers were concerned about. They recorded carefully, and frequently discussed with the British experts about a series of problems.

In the afternoon, the British representatives respectively introduced their own situations, such as the teachers, training courses, graduate education and study tours, etc. The teachers and students of Zibo Vocational College had put forward some problems, which included: the British teaching model; British employment prospects; the arrangement of nursing courses and practice, etc. The British representative gave detailed answers towards those questions.

Afterwards, the teachers and students had further exchange with the British experts at the British Universities booths. Some students directly filled in the application form and confirmed the study program with the British teachers.

The tour of Zibo Vocational College was a success, and it also gained high praise from all of the school leaders, teachers and students.
