On January 19, 2012, Beijing nursing experts from the ninth session of the Guanghua International Nursing Conference (London) participated in a Beijing Nursing Association meeting with the Guanghua International Education Association.

At the forum, nursing experts from various hospitals gave a high degree of recognition to the 9th Guanghua International Nursing Conference as it was the first one to be held overseas, delegates and international nursing experts carried out exchanges and academic discussions for a period of two days, they built a professional platform for dialogue between the Chinese nursing experts and the international nursing experts, and also helped make the international nursing community understand the status of the development of nursing care in China. GIEA hopes to have more opportunities for international academic exchange, and also hopes the international nursing exchange platform, will create more communication in order to hear more from our nurses.

In continuation with the ninth Guanghua International Nursing Conference being held in London, the tenth Guanghua International Nursing Conference will be held in Portugal in 2013, and has received strong support from the European Union nursing education and Cultural and Education section of the British Embassy. On the 19th, nursing experts from Beijing hospitals had a meeting to talk about issues pertaining to the 2013 annual conference and gave suggestions for what the topics of conference papers should be.

Recently, we announced on our website, the 2013 Guanghua International Nursing Conference Paper Call, welcoming nursing experts to actively contribute, and to pay close attention to this year’s conference information! We also hope to cooperate with nursing specialists in China to jointly apply for international scientific research projects, in order to improve the international academic status of nursing research in our country.
