On the morning of March 23, 2012, Guanghua International Education Association and the Bejing Nurses Association jointly held the expert discussion meeting about "Training materials syllabus for the nursing pre-service education"in Xuanwu Hospital,Beijing.

LI Shujia,president of Beijing nurses association hosted the conference.Ms.WU Jinfeng,secretary-general of Beijing nurses association,Ms.Lin Ying and Ms.Gong Lihua,president and secretary-general of Guanghua International Education Association were invited to attend the meeting.The attending experts also include:Directors of Nursing Department and clinical teaching directors from 3A hospitals and 2A hospitals,including Beijing No.6 hospital, Beijing chaoyang hospital, People's Hospital affiliated to Peking University , Cancer treatment center affiliated to Chinese academy of medical sciences, cardiovascular treatment center,Fuwai Hospital, Cancer treatment center affiliated to Peking University ,Peking University hospital, school of nursing,Peking University,Shunyi district hospital, Beijing tiantan hospital, Beijing dental hospital, Beijing friendship hospital, etc.

The expert discussion meeting

In the meeting,experts made an further discussion about the preliminary outline of the textbooks,corrected and adjusted the syllabus in accordance to the clinical practice in the hospitals in China.The delegates said that they would select the nursing experts with rich clinical and teaching experience to be the teachers.

Academic affairs director’s introduction of the syllabus

The nursing pre-service education training system is an important move of Beijing Municipal Health Bureau to give the nursing institutions administration authority.The Beijing nurses association organized experts to draft the training syllabus, compile the teaching materials and prepare the faculty training and certification.It also set up a certificate issued by BNA and GIEA which could provide opportunities for students to obtain employment recommendations.

The construction of the training system is the first step of Beijing nurses association to build the nurse access standards and the assessment and evaluation system in Beijing.As BNA’s only partner,GIEA will promote this training system with its unique channel advantages.

We believe that the work, will surely promote the improvement of the overall industry quality in nursing and make great contributions to carry out the "high quality nursing service demonstration project" in hospitals in Beijing.
