On May 10, 2013 the Guanghua International Education Association (GIEA) invited Ruan Weijie, Asia Pacific Business Director of Laerdal medical (China),Zhang Ling,Manager of Curriculum Development Center,American Heart Association to have a meeting with more than 10 nursing educational and clinical experts including Shang Shaomei,Secretary of the Nursing School,Peking University, Zhang Liming,director of 301 Hospital,Zhang Xiu,director of training center, 302 Hospital,Ni Ju,Dean of school of nursing,Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College and Wang Guolong from Strategical educational development Academy of China to discuss the nursing simulation teaching.。

First,Ruan briefly introduced the Laerdal medical (China) and their cooperation experience with National League of Nursing.He hoped the mature international cooperation mode could be replicated in China.。

Then Zhang Ling also detailedly analyzed the American Heart Association and its interanational influence and its business development in China.。

In the symposium, the experts exchanged their views with Laedal about using the Laedal nursing simulation equipments,provided them some suggestions on their business development and localization in China and shared the advanced international nursing simulation teaching experience.。

 

Ni Ju,Dean of Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College also put forward constructive views for GIEA’s work plan.He suggested that the simulation teaching courses should beb rationally planned to make it more operational. Ms. Lin Ying,President of GIEA,introduced the completion of the working objectives for the nursing profession construction schedule to the experts.In recent years, the Ministry of Education and other relevant departments of the state have paid close attention to the development of higher vocational education in China and they are advocating the improvement of vocational education teaching. Response to the call of the relevant departments of the state,the “International credit co-recognition curriculum construction” jointly launched by GIEA and other institutions has achieved initial success. Except presenting the achievement in the construction,we also discussed the docking of the nursing teaching reform,curriculum, teaching plan, teaching goals and skills training gaps and developed relevent solutions with the experts attending.
