November 5th, 2013, five leaders of Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), a subordinate corporation of Wolters Kluwer, visited GIEA, they were Susan Driscoll, President of LWW, Carlos Davis, Vice President and General Manager of LWW, Fanny Wong, Regional Director of North Asia and Japan, Michael Tang, China Manager of LWW, and Ryan Gao, Business Development Manager of LWW. Lin Ying, the President of GIEA and some staff of GIEA were present and discussed with them.

At first, President Lin introduced GIEA’s history and future projects and objectives, and further introduced GIEA’s current core work- International Nursing Curriculum Program. Then LWW introduced their textbooks and online resources on healthcare and nursing（LNPS、LNA、LPDP, etc.）After the introduction, both sides had a warm discussion on the cooperation form and international nursing curriculum program. The discussion was mainly about the introduction and translation of LWW’s nursing textbook and the cooperation in China’s nursing education. After the discussion, Suan Driscoll, the President of LWW presented a gift to President Lin and they took a photo together. Through this conference, GIEA and LWW were able to get a better understanding of each other, and built a bridge for future cooperation.
